Why Should you have your own domain name?
Easy, so that you can easily be found, after all there are millions and millions of pages of information on the internet, where are you amongst that lot, a little lost I expect. With you own domain name you are instantly "findable", and it looks a lot more professional. If your web address is something like
http://www.users.freespacegiver.com/businnesszone/yourname
it will be hard for anyone to guess it, but
http://www.yourname.co.uk
could be guessed, even if someone is not sure if you are on the net they can type it in to see, and hey presto up you pop, or maybe one of your competitors, not so good.
What names are available?
Well all address on the Internet have a kind of code built into them, below is a list of names that we can register for you. You can have whatever you want in front of the names below, subject to it not being already registered. If you are considering registering a name, now is the time to do it, there are 100,000 names a month being registered in the UK alone, so the longer you leave it the more chance there is that the name you want will be gone.

.com means that it belongs to a commercial organisation
.org means that it belongs to a non-profit making organisation
.net means that it belongs to an Internet provider
.co.uk means that it belongs to a company in the UK
.org.uk means that it belongs to a non-profit making organisation in the UK
.gb.net means that it belongs to an Internet provider in Great Britain
.gb.com means that it belongs to commercial organisation in Great Britain
.uk.net means that it belongs to an Internet provider in the UK

E-mail forwarding, ie. all E-mails sent to your domain name will be forwarded to you with up to five names being sent elsewhere, so you could have a private address for some and a standard address for the rest.
URL masking i.e. people won't see your "real" address, they will only see your domain name.
We deal with all of the administration for 18 months, then transfer it to you, you own the name from day one, we just do the paper work, after two years you decide whether to renew it or not.
We register it and arrange the URL forwarding and E-mail forwarding as an all-inclusive package.
